Thanks to Find a Grave contributor #47091329 for the following information: obituary as read in The Freehold Transcript,February 15, 1907, p. 4: Mrs. Dorothea Stokey died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Alexander Hurley at Glendola, Monday, February 4, 1907, of old age in her 94th year. She was the widow of Frederick Stokey of Allaire, who died February 4, 1882. Mrs. Stokey was the mother of eight children, four sons and four daughters, five of whom still survive her, two sons and three daughters: John C. of Asbury Park; Peter E. of Manasquan; Mrs. Isaiah Hankins of Freehold, Mrs. Alexander Hurley of Glendola, and Mrs. William Cox of Brooklyn, New York. Also 39 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Alexander Hurley, with interment at Glendola Cemetery.
