George served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Navy.
He married Antoinette "Toni" Elizabeth Doezie, June 6, 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
George was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as Sunday School Secretary and a Church Welfare Mission.
He loved hunting deer. His nick name was "one-shot" and "Buck". He loved fishing, playing pool and golfing.
George is survived by his loving wife, Toni, of Bountiful; his children: Diena and Mike Riddle of Bicknell; Annette and Trent Bringhurst of Murray; George Robert "Bob" and Tracie Brinkerhoff of Bountiful; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Dr. Edwin Cutler Brinkerhoff and Nellie Hamlin Murray Brinkerhoff Taylor; four sisters and one brother: Ina Peterson, James Brinkerhoff, JoAnne Prue, Beth Brinkerhoff and Jill Brinkerhoff.
Grave side services with military honors accorded by the Harold Brown American Legion Post #92 and the United States Navy Honor Guard will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in the Bicknell Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah. ∼
