PRICE, Wyndham R. On Wednesday, September 28, 2016, Wyn died peacefully at MCV surrounded by family and friends, at age 63. A strong, tireless advocate for environmental affairs, he was employed by the Richmond Parks Dept. He graduated from Guilford College and was a member of the Richmond Jaycees and Sierra Club, just to name a few. He was a well known philanthropist for the arts, and very involved in Richmond politics. His passion for Urbanna and nature led him to oyster farming, which he enjoyed sharing with friends and family. As he was transitioning, The Wildlife Center of Virginia released a young rehabbed bald eagle back into the wild in his honor. In lieu of flowers, please help plant a tree. Donations can be mailed to Richmond Tree Stewards, 100 N. 17th St., Richmond, 23219. A celebration of his life will be held at Bryan Park in October. RECYCLE!
