JOSEPH A. BAKER
Joseph A. Baker, 69, of Battiest, died Monday morning in an Idabel hospital.
Funeral services were Wednesday at 2:00 p. m. in Bethel Hill Church at Bethel, with the Rev. Isaac James officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Hill cemetery.
Mr. Baker was born March 8, 1901 in Battiest and had lived in McCurtain County his entire life. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Baker of Battiest; one son, Dukes Baker of Hugo; one brother, Climon (should be Chimon) Baker of Broken Bow; one sister, Ida Melton of Broken Bow.
