Esther E. Boardway, age 81 of Oshkosh died November 4, 2005, at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born January 26, 1924 in Logansport, Indiana. She was the daughter of Andrew and Ann (Cilar) Griffey. She married Joseph Du Chateau and they had five children. Her second marriage was to Wesley E. Boardway. They moved to New Mexico for 20 years.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Boardway of Oshkosh; brothers, Robert Griffey, James Griffey both of Oshkosh, and George Griffey of Seattle, Washington; a grandchild, Christopher Du Chateau; and great-grandchild, Malachi Schmude.
She was survived by her 4 sisters, 5 children, 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
