August 11, 1943 ~ May 16, 2013 (age 69) Mrs. Joyce Marie Hasty Mink, age 69 of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, wife of Dewey, passed away Thursday May 16, 2013 at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky.
Joyce was born on August 11, 1943 in the Level Green Community of Rockcastle County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Eugene and Gertrude Capps Hasty. She was a housewife, attended activities at the Rockcastle Adult Day Care facility, a member of Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed music, crafts and playing bingo. On August 3, 1976 she was united in matrimony to Dewey Kermit Mink.
Joyce is survived by her husband Dewey Kermit Mink of Mount Vernon, Kentucky; One brother: E.J. Hasty (Linda) of Lancaster, Kentucky; One sister: Mary Jane Hasty of Mount Vernon, Kentucky and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Joyce is preceded in death by two brothers: Clyde Eugene Hasty, Billy Hasty; Two sisters: Ruth Ella Hasty Rucker and Ruby Mae Hasty Sparkman.
A memorial service for Mrs. Joyce Marie Hasty Mink will be held on Sunday May 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church near Mount Vernon, Kentucky with Bro. Jerry Owens officiating.
