Henry and Martha Cutchall moved from Morrow County, Ohio to Arkansas between 1870 and 1880. They brought with them their three children John, Henry Lewis, and Sarah Ellen. In the 1880 census, 15 year old John is living at home with his parents in Sulphur Township. Miller County Marriages Index shows that John Cutchall married Susan E. Jones on the 5th of December, 1882. His daughter, Ella Jane Cutchall, was born in 1885. In the 1900 census, his mother states that she has borne three children but only two still live. John died sometime between his 1882 marriage and the 1900 census. He would have been the first of their family to be buried in Arkansas. His parents are buried at Harmony Grove Cemetery. Beside their gravestone is a stone that I believe marks John's grave.
