Henry Lewis Cutchall was born the 28th of December, 1865 in Morrow County, Ohio. His parents were Henry Cutchall and Martha Jane Miller. He and his family moved south to Miller County, Arkansas, sometime between 1870 and 1880. In the 1880 census, 14-year-old Henry Lewis is living at home with his parents in Sulphur Township. Miller County Marriages Index shows that Henry L married Mary Emma Oswald on the 31st of December, 1892. They lived in a two-story, white-frame house with a breezeway. The house stood in the foothills overlooking McKinney Bayou not far from Bielogh Bridge. Here they raised their many children and grandchildren. Henry Lewis and his family owned land and timber. They were farmers and cattlemen. They were commercial fishermen and beekeepers. The descendants of Henry L and Mary Emma continue to meet for reunions every summer in Fouke, Arkansas.
