Julia Church Albright Duckworth, 83, of Hickory, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Carolina Rehab of Burke following a brief illness.
She was formerly of Connelly Spring and had resided in Hickory for the last four years.
Julia was born on September 30, 1932 in Burke County to the late Clyde Church and Zenia Helton Church.
She was previously employed in retail sales at Kohl's. Julia was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed life and never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed buy all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Albright, one son, Robert Anthony and one brother, John Church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Pastor Kevin Anthony officiating.
Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Friday, from 11:00 until 12:00 P.M at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
