Larue H. Brown, age 82, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016. She was born in Blacklick Township, Pennsylvania, on November 13, 1933, to the late Archibald and Lodena (Buttolph) Hamer. Larue graduated from Medina High School. She was a life member of the Girl Scouts, and was a Girls’ State Adviser. Larue was also a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a 4H Adviser for several years. She was an active member in her Methodist church. Larue owned and operated American Realty Title Agency Company for a number of years, and eventually retired from there. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and doll collecting.

Larue is survived by her children Linda (Jerry) Ramsey of Arizona, Julie (Craig) Godlove of Colorado, and Susan (Christopher) Halstead of Medina; grandchildren Scarlett and Savannah Halstead, and Nickolas Godlove.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 8 years, John W. Brown.

Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina. Dr. David Tennant will officiate.
