Ida Poindexter

Mrs. Ida Barclay Poindexter, 85, of Belleville died Saturday, Feb. 19, at Chambers Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 7, 1908 at Little Texas, to Charles M. and Myrtle Kitchens Barclay, and a member of Upper Spring Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Noble Poindexter, a son, James Poindexter of Deer Park, Texas; a daughter, Geraldine Dimmitt of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters, Inell Keys and Inez Hickman of Fort Collins, Colo.; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday at Upper Spring Creek Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev. Paul Newton and the Rev. Bob Rackley. Burial was in Upper Spring Creek Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service.
