Jennie was the daughter of Greenleaf and Mary F. (Keasick) Cummings. She had two siblings; Eva and Ora Cummings. Jennie was married to Albert Amazeen a widower and native of New Hampshire on November 25, 1897 in Haverhill by George B. Gleason, clergyman. They had four children: Thelma J., Ralph N., Dorothy N. and Eleanor. Ralph died at the age of ten. Jennie and Albert lived in Haverhill for a number of years. In 1916 they bought a farm in Groveland. When Albert died in 1938 Jennie had been married to him for forty years. Jennie died at the age of ninety-three in 1970.
