Age 36, passed away suddenly Friday, September 16, 2016. He was born April 3, 1980 in Dearborn, MI, the son of Luther Davis and Katherine Kimberlin. On June 6, 2009, he married his loving wife Dina Capello and she survives. He served his country for three years in the United States Army before receiving an honorable discharge. He was an avid fan of computers as well as digital photography. He loved spending time with his family, especially riding bicycles with his children and attending many events. He was very active outdoors and especially loved hiking. He was a very creative person who loved inventing games for his children. He had a strong passion for helping and counseling people. He was active in social work as well as rehabilitation. His heart was truly in helping the community, as his work has helped and touched many lives. In addition to his loving wife of seven years, survivors include: his parents, Luther and Carolynn Davis; children, Aarik Jr., Aariona and Aaron; siblings, Andrew (Jennifer) Franklin of Romulus, William (Kali) Franklin of KY, Jason Davis of GA, Nicole (Robert) Burks of Romulus, MI, Michael Kirk of Dearborn Heights, MI, Carlos Kirk of Brown City, MI, Allen (Jennifer) Kirk of Garden City, MI, Mary (Charlie) Blake of Dearborn Heights, MI, Margaret Zalenski of New Boston, MI and Debbie (Michael Buchenko) Kirk of Newport, MI; special nieces, Asha and Makayla; special nephew Ryan; special aunts, Rose Lee and Marie Odom; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, countless friends and associates. He was preceded in death by his mother Katherine Franklin, sister Cherell Miller and uncle Jerry Davis. Cremation has taken place. The celebration of his life will be held 3-6 pm Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Local #898, 8975 Textile Road, Ypsilanti, MI 48197.
