CJ (C Boy or CC or Boy Boy) Armstrong 2nd -Everyone had a special name for this sweet boy. You were a joy in our lives and we miss you so very much. The tears are flowing.

We just had to do one of the hardest things we ever had to do, We had to have our sweet precious CJ put to sleep. He was a beautiful 11 year old black and white Shih Tzu. CJ left us at 9:20 AM on Monday, December 11, 2006. He will forever be loved and missed.

He was born Nov. 3,1995 in Newton Falls, Ohio. He was purchased because we had a previous Shih Tzu and loved him so much we wanted another one. This breed is very loving, sweet and gentle. You could do anything with them and they never complain. CJ was a Christmas present for my wife but he was always at my heels. He was very alert and didn't miss much.

He loved to travel and if you got his collar and leash, he was always ready to go. We have a motor home and when we started packing he wanted to make sure he was going. He would sit on the dashboard and watch everything going on outside.

My wife has a handicap scooter and he loved to ride on it. Being the larger, he would sit down by her feet and ride looking forward and his brother AJ would ride in the small basket and off they would go. We took them to Florida for a couple of winters and everyone in the park knew "our boys". Little AJ sure misses his brother as much as we do.

CJ was very intellegent and could tell you what he wanted using his paws, grunts and eyes. He would actually rub his paw on the glass if he wanted the sliding door open. He would use his nose to slide back the screen door, scratch on the wooden door to get it opened for him, hit his dish if he was hungry and he had a good appitite. We had a stool beside the bed so he could get up and if he wanted you to move over so he could get up he would grunt in your ear and if that didn't work, he would tap you on the shoulder. If he was laying and you wanted him to move, all you had to do was say "watch your tail". He love to sleep in the daytime with his head covered and usually on his back or he liked to curl up in a small place out of the way.

We have so many good memories and he will never be forgotten. He died with "mom and dad" holding him, talking to him and kissing him. His brother AJ got to see him before he died but we didn't let him stay in the room.

If any of you are animal lovers, you know how much we are hurting. But nothing could be done for CJ and we couldn't let him suffer. The day he died he was alert and his love showed in his eyes, it was hard to believe what we had to do.

He will be waiting for us with 4 more of his brothers at Rainbow Bridge and we will all be together again someday. I'm sure his brothers met him with love. Till then they will live on in our hearts, they were all loved and so missed. All they ask in return for their love and faithfulness was that you loved them back. He is buried in Western Farms, which is a pet cemetery in Grafton, Ohio.

Please visit my brothers here on FAG, they need flowers too. We are all in a virtual cemetery that our parents made just for us. Thank you.
