A native of Hastings, he was born July 21. 1915, a son of Antoinette Selvaggio and the late George Selvaggio. He attended Hastings High School and for the last 12 years was employed in the testing department of Anaconda Wire and Cable Company of Hastings. He lived at 548 Warburton Avenue.
Survivors include his wife, Marguerite, his mother, a son and a daughter. Two brothers, Peter of Bronxville and Blaise of Hastings and two sisters, besides Mrs. Cariello survive. They are Mrs. Jack (Josephine) DosSantos of Hastings and Mrs. Margaret Austin of New York. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mass of requiem was held Friday morning at St. Matthew's R. C. Church. Interment was at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
