Juanita L. Woodmansee, age 92, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Webb City Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born November 3, 1923 in Cossville, MO to Chester and Mabel (Means) Boyer.
She graduated from Alba High School in 1941.

Juanita married Kenneth Woodmansee November 30, 1941 in Webb City. He preceded her in death June 20, 2004.

She had worked at the Jasper County Title Company in Carthage for 11 years and Fidelity Abstract for 20 years in Neosho.

Surviving are a son, Steven Woodmansee of Alba and a daughter, Trudy Braden and husband Mel of Oklahoma City, OK; her brothers; Cloyd Boyer of Jasper, MO, Wayne Boyer of Kokomo, IN, and Ronnie Boyer of Joplin and her sisters; Pansy Shell of Alba, Shirley Lockhart of Fayetteville, Ark., Dolores Webb of Broken Arrow, OK, Bobbi McNary of Joplin and Marcella Layton of Oronogo, MO.

Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Juanita in death are her siblings; Lela Thelma, Ken Boyer, Cletis Boyer, Leonard “Lenny” Boyer and Lewis “Lynn” Boyer.
Funeral services for Juanita have been scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday at the Alba Christian Church with visitation an hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM.
Burial will follow at the Friends Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Simpson Funeral Home of Webb City.
