Richard Timothy "Tim" Linkous, 60, of Pulaski, Va. passed away Friday, September 9, 2016, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Pulaski on August 9, 1956 and was the son of the late Harry Jackson Linkous.Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Rebecca Sue Linkous; mother, Betty Akers Linkous; brothers, of Ronald Jackson Linkous and Jeffrey Carlyle Linkous; sisters, Donna Jean Linkous Felton and Lisa Kay Wingo; numerous nieces and nephews; and his little buddy, "Shorty".Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m.Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at Stevens Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. A graveside service will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.The family wishes to thank the Regional Rescue Squad, the Pulaski Fire Department and Stevens Funeral Home for their kindness and services.Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
