"Rosella Irons, age 90, passed away April 10, 2007, at Cliffview of Riverside. Services are Saturday, April 14, 2007, 3 p.m., at D. W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel with burial to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Rosella was preceded in death by her husband Laurence of 60 years; grandson, William Sampson Irons; daughter, Corrine Taylor; and two sons, Bill Irons and Floyd 'Butch' Irons.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice Pace; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren." The Kansas City Star, April 12, 2007
