Agnes Retherford, age 82 of Franklin, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Otterbein Of Lebanon. Agnes was born in London, Kentucky on January 27, 1934 to the late Ford and Nancy (Poff) Whitson.

Agnes was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crafting in her spare time. Agnes loved helping others whenever needed and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Retherford, son, Lanny Whitson, two grandsons, Jamie Whitson, Michael Kowanick; three brothers, A.C Whitson, Don Whitson, Emmitt Whitson; sister, Bernetta Overbey.

Agnes is survived by her two daughters, Teresa (Steve) Burr, Marla (John) Kowanick; step-daughter, Charlotte (Harold) Phipps; two grandchildren, Jackie (Scott) Steele, Jessica (Mark) Schneider; five great-grandchildren, Lacey, Dustin, Kayli, Kelsey, Kennedy; great-great granddaughter, Macey; sister, Sue Waddell and several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Young officiating. Burial will follow in Woodhill Cemetery.
