STUBBS -- Pearl Mae,, 90, passed away September 25, 2005, at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born April 19, 1915, to John and Fannie Adams, in Limestone, AR. Pearl was a long-time resident of Bixby, having moved there with her family in 1952.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juel; and siblings, Emma Adams, Dorothy Blevins, Orville Adams, Corby Adams, Gladys Davis and Ortha Venable.

Pearl was a faithful Christian, devoted mother and grandmother and a friend to all. She was a very proud single parent and worked very hard to provide for her family. Pearl was last employed as Kitchen Manager at Oral Roberts University and retired in 1977. After retirement, she enjoyed attending senior citizen activities, traveling with her daughters and cooking for her family. Pearl served the Lord at Bixby Free Will Baptist Church for over 50 years and was a member of the Crusaders Sunday School Class. Service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 28, at the Bixby Free Will Baptist Church, 15801 S. Memorial, Bixby, with interment following in the Bixby Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, September 27, at the Leonard & Marker Funeral Home, 366-8288.
