20 Feb 2017 -- This is probably a cenotaph marker for Harvey in the Miller Cemetery?
It took me a while, but I found the source (or reason) for putting Harvey in this cemetery. I have a PDF file of a page from the Centerville Daily Iowegian & Citizen newspaper edition of Saturday, August 10, 1935. This page lists all the veterans who are buried in Appanoose County. There are known to be errors in the listing, so perhaps Harvey's memorial stone really isn't in the Miller Cemetery--but was added to the list when he shouldn't have been?
I checked all my photos for the Miller Cemetery and can't find one for Harvey. I do have several photos of stones that are unreadable due to wear--or being broken, so perhaps Harvey's stone is one of those? I will leave Harvey in this cemetery until I can identify all the unreadable photos of stones that I have.
