Final Rites Held for View Woman
Funeral services for Mrs. Cenith Cunningham Bowen were held last Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the View Ward LDS church with Bishop John W. Taylor officiating.
The services began with Lay Me Softly Down to Sleep by a women's quartet composed of Mrs. Minnie Patterson, Mrs. Viola Grow Mrs. Lizzie Wood and Mrs. Alice Adams. Invocation was offered by A. F. Andreason.
Mrs. Catherine Zillner played two violin solos. Speakers J. W. Patterson, Roland Snow and David Moffett. The quartet sang, Beyond Today, and benediction was pronounced by Wallace Banner.
Interment under the direction of Vern McCulloch was in View Cemetery. Pallbearers were Willard Lewis and Jack Bowen, Verl McBride, Eugene Cunningham and Donald Cunningham. Flower bearers were Leitha Ricks, Bernice Stephens, Dora Wrigley, Venola Lloyd, Betty, Lenora and Donna Bowen and Jean Cunningham.
