She was the daughter of the late Harley and Cordie Blaylock Allen. She owned and operated the Lakeview Motel and Restaurant at Lake Junaluska for 33 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis "Shug" Green who passed away in 2006 and a brother, Bud Allen.
She is survived by three sons, Lewis Van Green of Waynesville, Ronald C. Green and his wife, Charlene of Orlando, FL, and Jeffery A. Green and his wife, Teresa of Waynesville, daughter, Deborah Green Allen and five grandchildren, Brandon Green, Nathan Green, Ashley Green, Brian Schuler, and Shawn Allen.
