Aunt Betty Swim, an old resident of this vicinity, died at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Manda Mercer, near Casey, Saturday, and was buried at the West Harmony cemetery Sunday, after a short funeral service.

Elizabeth Tharp was born in Licking county, Ohio April 12, 1828 and departed this life April 9, 1910 aged 81 years, 11 months, 27 days. Her illness of short duration, which she bore with much patience. She was united in marriage to William Eveland, May 21, 1847. To this union was born five children namely James, Johnathan, Isaiah, Amanda, and Clark.
William Eveland dying in 1858, she then married James Swim in 1865, who departed this life Dec 16, 1871. To this union was born one child, leaving in all to mourn her loss 6 children, 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, and two sisters and a host of friends. She was a member of the Newlight church of ...
