Barbara was born in Elk Creek, VA, to the late R.C. Todd and Elsie Sarah Todd. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Dan K. Cooley, and three sisters, Rowena Armentrout (101727438), Mildred Gibson and Mabel Blewfield.
She is survived by her daughter , Ann Cooley Pierpoint and husband, Tom; two grandsons. Thomas Joseph Pierpoint III and Andrew Todd Pierpoint; a brother, Bobby Todd; a brother-in-law and his wife, Dick and Linda Cooley.
Barbara was an active member of Lebanon United Methodist Church of Elk Creek, VA. During her later years, she enjoyed making new friends in the Red Hat Society.
