Married Merle Celeste Sosna (deceased December 24, 1994) on May 27, 1950 in Knoxville.
Children: Judith Margaret Wolfingbarger, Laura Ellen Olander, and Melissa Ann Livingston, all surviving. Grandchildren: Janelle Boesch, Ryan Wolfingbarger, Megan Rae Livingston, Drew Wolfingbarger and Alexandra Wolfingbarger, great grandson Wesley Andrew Friece. Also survived by twin sister Emma Lee Martin of Maryville, Tennessee, five nephews, one niece and dozens of cousins.

Assistant to the Chief Engineer, Missiles Systems Division, Rockwell International (formerly North American Aviation) 1957-73; Chief, Targeted Jobs Tax Credit program, Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, 1974-88, retired 1988. Served our Country overseas in WWII (1942-46) and the Korean War (1951-52). Commissioned Officer, Army Signal Corps. Member of the Supers Guild of Opera Columbus, appearing in 16 operas over the past 20 years (some of them in 2 or 3 different productions); the Columbus Astronomical Society; American Atheists; Sons of the Revolution and First Families of Tennessee.
