Emma Lee Martin, age 91, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Martin was a tax accountant and a former employee of ALCOA Inc. in the chemical lab during World War II. She was a member of Maryville 1st United Methodist Church for 52 years, and an avid genealogical researcher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray T. Martin; twin brother, Floyd Mac McInturff; brother, Sam F. McInturff, Jr. killed in action in France, during World War II. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Edwin R. and Carolyn Martin and Fred L. Martin all of Maryville; and grandchildren, Alyssa Blackwood in Athens, Jenna Martin of Alcoa, Chris and Morgan Anderson of Rutledge and Delaine Anderson of Atlanta, GA. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel. The family will have a private graveside service at Grandview Cemetery.
