TWIN FALLS - Walter Dwight Belveal, 79, of Twin Falls, died Friday, Dec. 25, 1992, at the home of his son in Boise.
He was born Oct. 24, 1913, in Hedrick, Iowa, the son of James and Estella Belveal. He married Mary Muscat on Oct. 14, 1939, in Lewiston. He worked for the Sears Agency Store and was transferred to the Twin Falls store as assistant manager at the new store in Twin Falls. He became a credit manager. He remained with the store for 10 years and then went with the George A Lowe Co. of Ogden, Utah, as a salesman for the Idaho Territory. Before retiring, he worked as a salesman with Blacker's Furniture and Appliance Store for 11 years.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary of Twin Falls; his daughter, Sharon Simmons of Post Falls; a son, Walter Belveal of Boise, three grandsons, Brad Belveal and Brent Belveal, both of Boise and Scott Simmons, of Renton, Wash.; and a granddaughter, Pamela Simmons at the University of Montana.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls.
