The daughter of James and Estella Hayes Belveal, she was born Nov. 15, 1902 near Hedrick. She was a member of the Hedrick United Methodist church, the WSCS and the Hedrick Garden Club. She was married to Vernon G. Davis April 23, 1921 in Ottumwa.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Doris Risenhoover and Jeane Patten; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers, D. D (Buck) Belveal, W. D. (Walt) Belveal and Lowell (Jiggs) Belveal and three sisters, Geneva Epperly, Mildred Clausen, and Phyllis Ebelsheiser.
Services were held Jan 10 at the Fremont Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Melvin Reth officiating and burial in the McCormick cemetery near Highland Center.
