Dix Bennett Davis, 82, passed away August 30, 2016, in Cedar Hills, Utah. Born August 16, 1934, in Provo, Utah, to Dewain LeRoy and Marcelene Bennett Davis. He married Marjorie Rae Hatfield in Springville, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Dix worked for Geneva Steel. He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many callings especially the 17 years as a temple worker at the Mount Timpanogos Utah LDS Temple. He had many hobbies including: gardener, bowler, archery, bottle hunter and was a great athlete.

He is survived by his children: Kennyon Davis, Bryan (Amy) Davis, Denise Baird, Kyle (Karen) Davis, Danaul (Cathy) Davis and Randall (Kati) Davis; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and siblings: Brent Davis, Dennis Gauger, Pauline Davis, Linda Clark, Kerry Davis and Kevin Davis. Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, parents, stepfather, a sister, Julie, and a grandson.
