James P. Cook, 72 years old, died Tuesday at his home in Edmonds, Wash., according to word received by his sister, Mrs. James L. Muir, and a brother, George L. Cook, both of 1812 Bunker avenue, Kansas City, Kansas.

Mr. Cook often had visited here. He is survived also by a son, George Cook, Michigan, and two other brothers, Charles A. Cook, Atchison, Kas., and N. E. Cook, New London, Conn.

Funeral service will be held this Thursday in Edmonds.
