He was preceded in death by his parents, Enos Monroe and Nannie Jane Bailey McLain; sisters, Mollie Cradic, Ressie Saurer, and Maude Barrett; brothers, Earl, Asa, Drexil, and Doyle McLain.
He is survived by his sisters, Ruby Manis, Myrlie Cradic, Loverl Long, Wanda Smith and Geneva McLain; sister-in-law, Eunivea McLain; special caregiver, niece, Tina Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Sunday (9/4/16) at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gerald Helton and Rev. Greg Graybeal officiating. Burial will follow in North Fork Church Cemetery.
