Manassah Lloyd Andrews was a son of Manassah Andrews and Harriet Andrews (née Leonard) of Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
He was brother to Brigadier General George Leonard Andrews of Civil War and West Point fame.
Always known as "Lloyd", my great grandfather Andrews was a machinist and a woodworker by trade. He married Sophia Lyon Wade Marston on September 14, 1871 after having served in the Union Army during the War Between the States.
