He was brother to Brigadier General George Leonard Andrews of Civil War and West Point fame.
Always known as "Lloyd", my great grandfather Andrews was a machinist and a woodworker by trade. He married Sophia Lyon Wade Marston on September 14, 1871 after having served in the Union Army during the War Between the States.
The third photo here shows him and his beloved "Gardy" on the porch of their summer place at Brant Rock, Massachusetts circa 1915.
M. Lloyd and Sophia raised a large family and lived their entire lives in the Elmwood section of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
