Herbert W Harbaugh, 75, Waynesboro R4, died Thursday in the Guilford Convalesarium, Fayettebille.
Mr. Harbaugh was born at Buena Vista, son of the late William E. and A. Mary Socks Harbaugh.
As a young man Mr. Harbaugh was employed at the Buena Vista Hotel and later worked at Landis Tool Co. for several years. He was active in the Blue Ridge Baseball League for many years. He was employed in the service department at Potomac Edison for 35 years.
His wife, Mrs. M. Pauline Eyler Harbaugh, died in 1971.
Mr. Harbaugh was a member of the Hawley Memorial Presbyterian Church and was a social member of the VFW.
He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Robert R Peiffer, Waynesboro R4, and Mrs. Howard F. Working, Rouzerville. Also surviving are four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Raymond W. Harbaugh, and a sister, Miss Mary E. Harbaugh, both of Waynesboro R4.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 in the Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro, in charge of Rev. Gerald Houseknect. Burial will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.
