"James 'Andy' Kramer, 98, of 6501 Greeley, Kansas City, Kansas, died Friday at Trinity Lutheran Hospital. He was born in Hutchinson, Kan., and had lived in Kansas City, Kan., most of his life. Mr. Kramer retired from the Kansas City Stockyards Railroad after 25 years. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He was a former member of the Holy Name Society of St John the Evangelist. He leaves three sons, Jim Kramer of Shawnee, Arthur Kramer of Basehor, Kan., and Robert Kramer of Cherokee, N.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Monahan of Kansas City, Kan.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services at 9 a.m. Monday at the Butler Chapel and at 9:30 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church; burial in St Patrick's Cemetery." The Kansas City Star, May 11, 1980
