Mr. Kramer was born in Bremen, Germany, and came to this country when 25 years old. He went directly to Kansas City, Kansas, then later to Hutchinson, Kas., where he purchased a farm. The land he owned there is now part of the city of Hutchinson. Forty-nine years ago he sold his Hutchinson farm and moved back to Wyandotte County. On June 20, Mr. Kramer and his wife, Mrs. Mary B. Kramer, who survives, observed their fifty-sixth wedding anniversary.
Besides his widow, he leaves three sons, W. A. Kramer of San Francisco, J. A. Kramer and Henry L. Kramer, both of Kansas City, Kansas; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Galvin and Mrs. Minnie Barber, both of Horanif; and two brothers, Michael Kramer and Antone Kramer, both of Germany; and twenty-two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday at St Patrick's Church in Horanif; burial in St Patrick's Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, November 14, 1931
