Charles William Coomler, age 83 of Douglasville, GA passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016. He was born on July 8, 1933 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a retired truck driver for Sadler Brothers Trucking Co.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Maxine Velma Coomler; his biological parents, Walter Fulton and Cora Hyatt, his adopted parents, John and Ruth Coomler and one sister, LaDonna McIntyre.
He is survived by his children; Michael Coomler, David Coomler, Patricia Todd and husband, Larry, Timothy Coomler and wife, Bertha, Connie Latimer and husband, Jeff, Pamela Litton, Bryan E. Coomler, 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; brothers, Larry Storm, Merrill Storm, Jim Storm and wife, Julie; sisters: Mary Ann Sullivan and husband, David, Teresa Storm and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville with Chaplain David Spender officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
