Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Salem M.B. Church, with burial in St. Peter Cemetery, Woodville, FL. Viewing-visitation is 3-7 p.m. Friday at Tillman of Tallahassee.
Cynthia was a Rickards High and Florida A&M University graduate; she had been a teacher at several learning institutions, most recently Woodland Academy. She was a member of Community of Hope AME Zion Church.
She was predeceased by her parents, Albert "AC" and Henrietta Redding, James Johnson, Sr. and Jessie Lee Forbes.
