Mrs. Massengill had been a resident of the New Albany area for most of her life. She was a member of New Albany Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include sons, James A. Massengill of Warner Robbins, Ga., Amos Massengill of New Albany and Douglas Patton Massengill of Chicago; daughter, Mary Sue Whitehorn and Margie Lee Roberts, both of New Albany; and nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and six great-great- grandchildren.
