Charles "Loy" Daily of Wichita died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006. He was 74.
He was born Aug. 22, 1932, in Emporia.
Mr. Daily worked for the Kansas Highway Department and city water department and also was a heavy-equipment operator. He was retired. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Eila Simkin Daily and her children, Elizabeth Brace , Kathleen Kaiser and Theresa Morris, all of Wichita; four sisters. Faye Jaggard, JoAnne Fowler and Adeline Wood, all of Emporia, and Mary Clemmer of Tampa.
Four brothers, Homer Daily, Roger Daily, Ross Daily and Eldon Daily; and four sisters, Fern Gray, Charlotte Kemp, Leona Mayhill and Dorla K. Sharp, died earlier
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church.
