Lula Adeline Daily Wood 96 passed away Friday, July, 5th 2013 in Emporia Kansas Adeline was born september 16th 1916 in Neosho Rapids Kansas the daughter of Charles and Mary Bills Daily as a child she lived in around the Neosho Rapids and later lived southwest of Emporia she was joined in marriage to Commodore William Wood on July 18th 1942 in Coffeyville Kansas they lived the early years of their marriage in Wichita where she worked as a clerk at the John Deere dealership they later moved to Hartford in 1961, in 1970 the couple moved to the current home near Emporia and enjoyed 66 years of marriage together before Commodores death August 2008 Adeline was a proud homemaker, a current caregiver throughout her entire life she attended the First Christian Church Hartford she will be especially missed by her son Bill Wood of ,Emporia her two sisters Joanne Fowler of Emporia and Mary Clemmer Tampa Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews adeline was preceded in death by five sisters and five brothers
