Harry Pierce Hampton passed away on January 23, 2010. He was born on April 30, 1920 to the union of Harry Wallace Hampton and Carrie Lucile Banks-Hampton. He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 65 years, Dorothy Marie Hampton; 2 infant sisters; 2 brothers, Paul and Wade Hampton; 2 sisters, Francis Long and Ruth Morris. Harry is survived by 1 sister, Carolyn Russell and her husband Johnny; 3 children, Walter Hampton, Reta Hampton, Diane Tillery and her husband Rick; 5 grandchildren, Heath Hampton and his wife Teresa, Kyle Leach and his wife Nora, Bryan Leach and his wife Valeriya, Shauna Pitts and her husband Donnie, Bracy Tillery; 4 great grandchildren, Heath Jr., Aurielle, J.T. and Cheyenne. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 25, 2010 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 9:30 AM in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park. Memorial donations in honor of Harry may be made to New Life Assembly 749 Uvalde Rd. Houston, TX 77015.
