BALASCO, ANNA (CARDULLO) 85, of Bryantville Ct., Warwick, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Scalabrini Villa in North Kingstown surrounded by her loving daughters.

She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Balasco. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Assunta (Sincero) Cardullo.

She was an active member in St. Raymond's Society in Providence and member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Warwick.

Devoted to her family, Anna hosted large family gatherings and enjoyed Christmas with her family. She was known for her culinary skills, especially her apple pies.

Anna was the devoted mother of Linda Luongo and her husband Gerald, Elaine Morton and her husband Barstow, Susan DeMaria and her husband Richard and Ann Marie Santos and her husband Donald; loving grandmother of Kristen, Amanda, Catherine, Lynn and Matthew; loving great-grandmother of Kayla, Kaden and Alexander; and dear sister of Paul Cardullo, Florence Balasco and the late Peter, Thomas and Raymond Cardullo. She was a loving caregiver not only to her grandchildren, but to her nieces and nephews whom she adored. She will forever be remembered in everyone's heart.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 618 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
