Lois Hollinger Morland, age 85, of Lower Allen Township, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at VibraLife, Mechanicsburg. Born August 16, 1931 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorthea (Baum) Stambaugh.

Lois was employed as a registered nurse at Harrisburg Hospital and was the Director of Nursing at the Woods, Camp Hill. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg and a member of the Mechanicsburg Women’s Club. She loved her family dearly and her husband Bill. Upon retirement she and her husband enjoyed traveling to just about anywhere the spirit moved them.

Lois was the widow of Hugh E. Hollinger.

Surviving are her husband William Morland; two sons Brad E. Hollinger of Mechanicsburg and Scott J. Hollinger of Louisville, KY; six grandchildren, Kyle Hollinger, Kelly Hollinger, Julia Hollinger, Jeffrey Hollinger, Heather Hollinger, and Alyssa Hollinger and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, at Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg. There will be a viewing from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
