HOLLIS, Oklahoma, May 15, 1963 (Special) - Funeral services for George Ernest Cansler, 71, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert Cargill, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Leland Abercrombie.
Burial will be in McKnight Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Cansler died today in Harmon Hospital.
He was born Dec. 11, 1891, in Terral, Okla. He had lived here since 1899.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel; three daughters, Mrs. Alton Crabb, Mrs. Raymond Barnett, and Mrs. Troy Leathers, all of Hollis; two sons, Eal of Kansas City, Kansas, and Jerry of Amarillo, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Worley of Sayre, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Zella Byrd of Hollis; a brother, Carl of Canadian, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
