Teodora married the love of her life, Ramon G Aguirre on Dec. 22, 1894 in the town of Morenci. To this union was born 14 children, 7 sons & 7 daughters.
Here is the information from her obituary posted in the Copper Era Newspaper dated Saturday, February 6, 1926:
Pioneer Passes
Mrs. Teodora Aguirre, wife of Ramon Aguirre, passed away last friday after a short illness with pneumonia. She was buried at Bunkers Cemetery on Sunday. Mrs Aguirre is survived by her husband and 14 children, nearly all of whom were with her at the time of her death.
Perhaps the strangest incident closely connected with this sad affair, and which might be considered an act of providence was the fact that two older sons, who had been lost to the family, one for five years and the other for twelve years, unexpectedly returned to their home several days before the mother took sick. Ramon Aguirre Jr. who has been in the US Army for three years, came from Philadelphia and his brother Regulo, who had spent several years in the US Merchant Marines, came from San Francisco. Neither of the boys knew where the other was, and neither knew that the other was planning a trip home yet they both appeared in Morenci about the same time. Two married daughters came from El Paso to be with their mother at the end, while another married daughter residing at Zacatecas, Mexico could not come. Mrs. Louis Nardelli of Morenci is also a daughter.
