Mrs. Melba A. Deemer, 72, of 960 W. 18th St., Upland, Calif., formerly of Palmer Township, died Sunday in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the widow of Charles E. Deemer.
Born in Riegelsville, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Esther (Hammerstone) Andrews.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joan Ebner of Upland; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Sabo in Florida; a step-daughter, Mrs. Nancy Grohotoleski of Palmerton; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson. A calling hour will precede the services.
