Ocellus Pinkston Whipp was born in Oconomowoc. He died of cancer of the stomach. His early life was in the eastern part of the state in Ashippen, Greenville and Appleton. he came to Rock Elm in 1863 being one of the pioneers who helped cut down the primeval forest. His first schooling was in Appleton later he was at school at River Falls and Galesvile. He training to be a teacher. He was marred to Flavia L. Cooke Jan 1, 1884. and there were 4 daughters Bessie, Phebe and Anna. IN 1890 he sold his farm in Rock Elm and came to Ono.m. 1 Jan 1884 to Flaviah Cook b.
