James Wilson is on the 1860 Rutherford Co., NC census, Sandy Run, Oak Springs P.O., family #152. James Wilson, 80, born 1780, in the same HH are his son & family: Wm G. Wilson, age 45. Nancy Haney Wilson is not on the census records above because she died before 1850. James & Nancy Haney Wilson could be buried in a family cemetery or at Cliffside Cemetery near where they lived and died but there is no proof of where they are buried. They were not brought over 70 miles from Bakersville, Mitchell County to Cliffside to be buried, him on top of her, as shown by Roger Phillip Burnett. The memorials on FAG #104870650 for William James Wilson & Nancy Haney Wilson #14512674 at Cliffside Cemetery are not correct, misleading and completly wrong. The grave marker photo clearly has Wm Wilson Haney died July 27, 1855 in his 30th year, born about 1825. He was a nephew of Nancy Haney Wilson and a son of John & Drusilla Haney. See memorial #263134235.
