Margaret “Lee” Jeffress Cobb was born in Danville, VA on January 20, 1946 to John Daniel Jeffress and Juanita Van Hook (Duck) Jeffress. She had lived all of her life in Caswell County where she was a graduate of the former Cobb Memorial High School, Class of 1964 and she was also voted as Miss Caswell County in 1964. Margaret Lee was a graduate of Rockingham Community College where she received a Degree in Nursing. She had worked for Annie Penn Hospital and Danville Regional Medical Center prior to her retirement. She was a former member of the Caswell County Board of Health and she was of the Methodist Faith. On August 1, 1992 she married Joseph Elwood Cobb. She is the mother of John Wesley Sartin, Jeffrey Howard Sartin, Anthony Leon Sartin, Amy Kaye Cobb and Holly Jo Cobb. She is the sister of Betty J. Markham, Carolyn J. Johnston and John Daniel Jeffress.
